Healthy Nails

I can’t say for sure which thing is the magic ticket J So I’ll list everything I do/have done - out for you!

Supplements:
Fish Oil
Calcium
Vitamin D
Prenatal One from Rainbow Light (this has EVERYTHING in it – From Vitamin A C, D, E, K, all the B’s, Biotin, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Zinc, Selenium, Copper, Manganese, and more!)

Products:
I also use Sally Henson nail products (Complete Care and Hard as Nails) – as well as a few different hand lotions that are good for hands, nails and cuticles – one by Sally Hansen (Nails & Cuticles Hand Crème), one by Eucerin (Daily Skin Balance Skin-Fortifying Hand Crème –Strengthens skin’s protective barrier, Leaves hands and cuticles soft and smooth) as well as this stuff from Ahava – it’s amazing, sold at Target – Dead Sea Essentials Witch Hazel Hand Cream – instantly moisturizes hands, nails, and cuticles J

On occasion I use cuticle oil by Hard as Hoof – and after a no chip mani that I had removed quite a while back – I used their Nail Strengthening Cream – which was amazing!

Lifestyle:
I also drink tons of water & green tea – and try to eat mostly whole foods – real foods – not processed, you know – like obviously fruits and veggies – lean proteins, only things that have real ingredients…not full of chemicals!

I’d say all of these things play a part in strong nails J

Just know that it’s going to take quite some time for your nails to recover from acrylics – so don’t lose heart – just be patient!

Recommendations:
I’d strongly suggest the calcium, vitamin D (those should be taken together anyway – since the body needs vitamin D in order to absorb calcium) and the pre-natal vitamin.
On top of that – I would definitely suggest coating your nails with Sally Hansen’s Complete Care 4 in 1 Extra Moisturizing Treatment. It’s a clear nail polish with tons of benefits – Ridge Filling Base Coat, a Bio Strengthener, Growth Treatment, and Mega Gloss Top Coat. It’s the best – and not too expensive!
Definitely keep your hands moisturized – that does wonders for your cuticles – which in turn will help your nails J
If you have the money – I would also recommend the Hard as Hoofs cuticle oil and nail strengthening cream –they are great!

The polish, cuticle oil, and nail cream are all sold at Wal-Mart J

Hope this helps!!!
